Christian Children’s Home Attacked in India

A Christian children’s home in Srinagar, India was attacked and almost set on fire by a mob of Muslim extremists. According to reports, the extremists attacked the home because there was a rumor that Muslim children were being converted there. Is there the freedom of religion in India?
4/20/2013 India (Catholic Culture) – Armed with stones and sticks, a group of men in Srinagar, a largely Muslim city of 1.3 million in northern India, attacked and attempted to set fire to a Christian children’s home. The men beat residents of the home before police arrived.
The attack occurred after local mullahs accused the ecumenical Christian group that runs the home of attempting to convert Muslim children.
