BLOG | Courage in the Face of Death

As a child I read the stories of missionaries who struggled for the sake of the Gospel. I read stories of martyrs, and Christians who were persecuted for their faith. I would often wonder what I would do if I was in that situation. Would I stay true to Jesus or would I say whatever they wanted me to just so the pain would end? I sincerely hoped that I would stay true to Jesus, and I also sincerely hoped I would never be in a situation where I would find out the answer to that question.
