Attacks against Christians continue in Pakistan. According to the Pakistan Christian Post, a Christian was killed in Punjab recently by Muslims that were reportedly stealing his land. The incident follows the murder of a Christian boy in Faisalabad and the arrest of a Christian girl in Islamabad on blasphemy charges.
8/22/2012 Pakistan (Pakistan Christian Post) – One Christian was shot dead and six other seriously injured when influential Muslims attacked to grab land of Christians inherited by their ancestor in Chak 66 Dina Nath in Kasur district of Punjab.
One Christian was shot dead with bullet wounds, one injured seriously by firing at, one was kidnapped and five other were injured. The FIR is registered in the Police Station City Phool Nagar bearing No.277/12 under section 365 PPC.
Some of the injured Christians have been transferred to the Civil Hospital Phool Nagar, while those with serious bullet wounds had been admitted to the Jinnah Hospital Lahore.
The Christians approach Police Choki Dina Nath Chak No 66, and submitted an application but never act on that to safe Christians
