Nigeria: Boko Haram – Anglican Urges Christians to Be Vigilant

Nigerian Christians face continuous attacks from radical Muslims. Church leaders are call for their members to be vigilant in following the attacks by Muslim radicals.
08/06/2012 Nigeria (All Africa)-The Chancellor, Diocese of Lagos Anglican Communion, Justice Adesola Oguntade yesterday said from the time has come for Christians to be vigilant and take necessary precautions to prevent further attack by the Boko Haram sect.
He urged Christians never to hesitate reporting suspicious movements to the police.

Justice Oguntade, who was represented by the Registrar, Lagos Mainland Diocese, Lady Chinkwe Ochaga, urged Christians to assist the police by giving them necessary information which may be useful in preventing these attacks.
He said Christians should continue to pray that God will convert the terrorists. There is no need to resort to violence in the belief that we can ward off the attackers, rather we should see ourselves as one big family and continue to pray for peace to rein.
