According to the Pakistan Christian Post, a Christian laborer was killed by his landlord in Sindh, Pakistan on Sunday. However, the news agency does not give an explanation of why the murder occurred.

7/9/2012 Pakistan (Pakistan Christian Post) – A minority Christian worker who was working with a contractor at Kot Ghulam Muhammad town of Sindh was killed by landlord Faisal Kachhelo on Sunday but police and parliamentarians of area were trying to save landlord and instead police arrested his guard to save face. According to details a Christian worker Asif alias Shera Masih was collecting earth for construction work of school at town Kot Ghulam Muhammad when the landlord Faisal Kachhelo caught him and tied him with his jeep dragging him behind jeep to his Otaq (sitting room) outside his home where the landlord fired bullets at the worker killing him instantly. His dead body was lying on the ground for 4 hours only then police arrived and took his body to Taluka hospital for post mortem.
Though the parents of 26 years old young worker lodged FIR against landlord but police arrested Bachayo Khokhar guard of wadera and saved the landlord. Police as well as local MPA and MNA were trying to save landlord and to struck off his name from FIR. The relatives of the slain Christian young man held protest demonstration and blocked Umerkot- Mirpurkhas road for few hours causing suspension of vehicular traffic. They demanded justice by arresting the killer landlord.
Meanwhile the violence against workers and women continued in Sindh. On same day a peasant Gul Muhammad Khaskheli was killed near Shahdadpur in Sanghar district of Sindh by armed men of Rind community while 2 children were injured. The relatives held protest demonstration against killers but police did not move to arrest the assailants instead it arrested half dozen protesters.
