ICC Note
“This is very alarming, and we are very much concerned about these threats by the Boko Haram.”

03/08/2012 Nigeria (OneNewsNow)-International Christian Concern says a Muslim terrorist group’s plot to “end the Christian presence” in northern Nigeria is the first time the group has launched an all-out war against believers.
Boko Haram has claimed responsibility for attacks in northern Nigeria that have targeted Christians, churches, and moderate Muslims who do not agree with the murderous tactics. The Egypt-based news website Bikya Masr recently spoke by phone to a Boko Haram spokesman, who said his group is preparing to launch a “war” against Christians in a campaign that will involve numerous coordinated attacks on schools, police stations, banks, government buildings, and churches.
Jonathan Racho of International Christian Concern (ICC) tells OneNewsNow this is the first time Boko Haram has launched an all-out war.
“One spokesperson said that they will — I quote — ‘launch a number of attacks’ — unquote — against Christians in Nigeria,” he details. “So this is very alarming, and we are very much concerned about these threats by the Boko Haram.”
Racho says Boko Haram has become increasingly bold “because there’s no consequence, it looks like. They have been able to carry out attacks successfully, and there has been little done to stop their continuous attacks,” he laments.
