“In general, Jordan is credited with a tolerant and more western-leaning attitude towards the minority groups as it has housed millions of refugees fleeing from other Middle Eastern countries in dire situations. However, it maintains the title of a predominantly Muslim nation. Courts are ruled by Muslims, and persons of other faiths face obstacles in achieving rights equal to those of their Muslim countrymen. The government tries to promote interfaith dialogues, but proselytizing is not legally recognized, thus restricting the freedom of converts.” Please pray for our brothers and sisters in Jordan.
