Libyan Citizens Desecrate Christian and Jewish Tombstones

Citizens of Libya were captured on video last week destroying the tombstones of fallen British and Italian soldiers from World War II. They kicked, beat, and shattered multiple tombstones that had a cross or Star of David on them. Libya’s National Transitional Council (NTC) have condemned these actions, stated it does not represent the population as a whole, and have committed to prosecute those responsible.
