Masis Masessian, an elder of the Narmak Assembly of God Church in Tehran, was released on bail on February 16, Farsi Christian News Network reports.
2/23/2012 Iran (FCNN) – Mr. Masis Masessian, Armenian Brother, an elder of the Narmak Church of Assembly of God in Tehran, who was arrested on 8th February 2012 at his work, was allowed home more than a week later. (16 Feb. 2012)
His, temporary, freedom did not come cheap; to provide the demanded money his family had to mortgage 2 title deeds.
Islamic Justice has accused Mr. Masessian of “Propagation of Christianity”. Those who know him would describe Masis as a kind, quiet, and committed Christian; with a big heart and helpful personality, always ready to help those in need irrespective of race creed or religion.
In a country where acts of mercy are almost entirely unknown, he has taken it upon himself to visit hospitals and spend time with the lonely and the forgotten, giving them whatever hope and help he can.
