ICC recently heard back from partners in Vietnam who reported that, despite intense scrutiny, they were recently able to visit over a dozen families of imprisoned pastors. All of these families have suffered tremendous loss when their fathers, brothers, and husbands were imprisoned by the Vietnamese government for being leaders in the church. Some of the prison sentences extend for more than a dozen years, and these families live in conditions that are unimaginable to most Americans. Thanks to ICC donors as each one of these recently visited families received much needed financial support, allowing them to go visit their imprisoned loved ones and purchase basic necessities. Their letters of thanks express not only gratitude, but a deep commitment to serving God despite their circumstances.
