“Massis Moussian, a minister in the Narmak AOG church of Tehran was arrested by security authorities in his workplace on February 8, 2012, in relation to waves of anti-Christian pressures and distribution of unsubstantiated reports by regime-supported media regarding the AOG churches of Iran,” Mohabat News reports.
2/13/2012 Iran (Mohabat News) – Massis Moussian, a minister in the Narmak AOG church of Tehran was arrested by security authorities in his workplace on February 8, 2012, in relation to waves of anti-Christian pressures and distribution of unsubstantiated reports by regime-supported media regarding the AOG churches of Iran.
According to Mohabat News, a report by Human Rights activists in Iran states that security authorities arrested Mr. Moussian in his workplace without even providing a reason.
According to contacts in Rajaei-Shahr prison, he is now being held in that prison and is not allowed to have visitors.
No precise information is available regarding this Christian minister’s health condition as of yet. His family members have made efforts to get information on his condition, but have not been successful yet.
Currently, Christian prisoners are as follows: Farshid Fathi in Evin prison, Farhad Sabokroh, Naser Zamen-Dezfuli, Davoud Alijani and Noorollah Qabitizade in Karoon prison, Massis Moussian in Rajaei-Shahr prison and Fariborz Arazm in the penitentiary of Karaj.
Farshid Fathi and Noorollah Qabitizade were both arrested at Christmas 2010 and are still being held in custody in uncertain conditions.
