Pray for Christians in Cuba. They live in a country where house churches are greatly opposed and Christian materials are often confiscated. 41.1% of Cubans are Catholic but only 2% attend mass. Only 2.82% Cubans are Protestant. However, there is a sense of optimism as the Cuban government has hinted towards acceptance of different Christian churches. A worship service disbanded in Indonesia!
ICC’s staff member in Indonesia reported that the congregation of the Kemah Daud Christian Church in Bandar Lampung was disbanded during their worship service by local authorities and residents.
The forced closure of the church was contrary to Indonesian President Jokowi’s recent appeal and undermined the Indonesian Constitution, which guarantees freedom of worship and religion for all.
