01/31/2012 Egypt (Bikyamaser) – A number of Coptic Christian activists said on Tuesday that they agreed on the need for the establishment of an independent political Coptic Council away from the influence of the Coptic Church, pointing to the continued policy of marginalization of the Coptic community in Egypt, especially after the revolution, and described their situation as “no different from the era of Mubarak.”
The activists added that their situation is “even worse under the rule of the military junta.”
The activist demanded, during a conference on the “situation and state of Copts after the revolution,” freedom from the grip of the Church, which,according to them, fell in the “trap of the military council and continued its wrong path in political life and caused the election to turn into a sectarian issue.”

Prominent activist Naguib Gobraiel said “Copts must unite in one party, as the military junta did not offer anything for the Copts.”
He added that “We [Copts] shall make the Party a political bloc, not religious.”

When struck by word or hand for our faith, anger or even fear may be our first response. Choosing to take advantage of our moments of weakness, when we are being persecuted for our faith, and respond with love is a testimony far greater than the sword ever could be. Just as Jesus healed the ear of his persecutor, may we do the same to our adversaries.

Despite its claims of embracing freedom of religion for all, Indonesia continues to be a hot spot of religious persecution. But why?
Such actions continue because of decade old regulations. These regulations often become a tool for intolerant groups to violate the freedom of worship of minority groups.
Continue to pray for the destruction of strongholds in Indonesia!

Their freedom of religion is very different definition. Unfortunately most of countries the just use the term of freedom of religion for their purposes.
As is North Korea,China,most islamic countries and more!!
