Giving hope to persecuted Christians since 1995

ICC is supporting underground pastors in the world’s most persecuted countries. Occasionally, these church leaders are imprisoned, mocked, and beaten for their faith in Jesus Christ. One church leader who was arrested last year told an ICC partner that he was not ready to leave prison when he had heard that ICC funded a lawyer to defend him in court. The pastor said God was using his ministry in a powerful way in prison and many inmates were coming to Christ. However, his church overseer convinced him that God still had a great purpose for his life outside the prison walls. He was soon released and his ministry continues.
Another ICC supported pastor is serving numerous towns in a country where it is very dangerous to be a Christian. However, he is not afraid because he knows he’s on a mission from God. He has been called to disciple new believers and plant churches among the unreached. God has used him to share the Gospel with hundreds of Muslims who turned to faith in Christ. Today, he is discipling pastors who are in the process of planting four new churches in countryside villages.
Please pray for these leaders who face daily persecution and have learned what Jesus meant when He said, “take up your cross and follow Me” (Luke 9:23). Consider partnering with ICC for this integral work that is building God’s church among the oppressed who are desperately longing for hope which is only found in Christ Jesus.
