Suspects in Christmas attack that killed 7 in southern Egypt will be tried Feb. 13
1/17/2010 Egypt (CP) – Egypt ‘s state news agency says the suspects in a drive-by shooting that killed seven people outside a Coptic church will go on trial Feb. 13 in an emergency state security court.
Egypt ‘s prosecutor general has charged three suspects with murder and threatening national security.
The Middle East News agency said Sunday the trial will be held in Qena, a city 30 miles (50 kilometres) south of Nag Hamadi. Emergency courts normally handle terrorism cases.
