Attack on Mission school in Sikandra, Agra

5/2/07 India (Persecution Update India) A group of 6-7 fundamentalists reportedly attacked the Grameen Mission School at Sikandra, Agra in Uttar Pradesh on May 1, 2007. The incident took place in the morning. The attackers arrived on motorcycles and tried to enter the room where a board meeting was taking place.
When the guard tried to detain them, he was beaten up badly and the property of the school was also damaged.
The board members, however, did not get hurt as they had locked the room from the inside.
Police at the Sikandra Thana, stated that two people have already been arrested. A medical examination has been done for the guard. Grameen Mission School is a Christian institution that caters to the needs of villagers.
