More on Arrests of Iranian Muslim Converts

Last week we posted the news (from Compass Direct) about the arrests (Dec. 10) of the Muslim converts in Iran . More details are coming out. The number of arrests are up to 14 with arrests in Karaj , Tehran and Rasht .

Arrested in Rasht :
Shaheen Taghizadeh, Yosef Noorkhani, Mathias Hagh-Nejad, Parviz Khalaj, Muhammad Belyad, Peyman Salarvand, Sohrab Sayadi, Mr. Davood and Mr. Amin.

Arrested in Tehran :
Mrs. Shirin Sadegh, Mr. Behrooz Sadegh, Mr. Hamid-Reza Tolou’ee

Arrested in Karaj :
Mr. Behnam Irani & Mr. Bahman Irani (brothers)

We are getting reports that they were trying to hold Christmas services when arrested. As converts from Islam and not established Christians the penalties they face are much harsher. Please keep these brothers and sisters in prayer and be sure to contact the Iranian embassy in your country to ask them to stop persecuting Christians.
