ICC (02/21/06) We thank and praise God that the congregation of the Assemblies of God Church in Bolatha, Gampaha District was able to meet together for Sunday service. Although the attendance was low with about 20 members staying away due to fear, some congregation members from villages outside Bolatha attended, braving threats of attack.
This church had been threatened in previous weeks that if it continued to allow attendees from outside the village, they would be chased away.
Thank you for your prayers. Please continue to pray for them as they continue to meet in the midst of opposition.
