(ANS) – Seven of the men convicted of killing Christian missionary Graham Staines and his two young sons in India , have been let go, according to a May 27, 2005, report by Gary Lane, CWNews as published by CBN.com. Six years ago, 13 radical Hindus were convicted of murdering Australian Christian Graham Staines and his sons, Philip and Timothy. The missionaries were burned to death in late January, 1999, as they slept in their station wagon parked near a church. Now the Appeals Court in the State of Orissa , India , has freed seven of the men involved in that brutal blaze. The death sentence for another convicted killer — Dara Singh — was reduced to “life in prison.”
