A friend of ICC's passed this report on:

Narayan, a 25 year old Christian worker, was murdered near Mysore (Karnataka). Pastor Narayan was working as an evangelist for the last four years in Hunsur, near Mysore . Christians in Karantaka are subject to humiliation and a well orchestrated anti-Christian wave was created by the radical Hindutwa elements from Sangh Parivar after the massive “Pray for India ” rally organized by Pastor Benny Hinn, attended by millions of people.

The latest victim of this hate mongering is pastor Narayan. The postmortem reports point to broken ribs and teeth and injuries in the naval area suggesting a cold-blooded murder. It may not be accidental this murder took place while the `hugging saint' Matha Amruthmaye is visiting Mysore to negate the prayer meeting held by pastor Binny Hinn. The radical Hindutwa protagonists even organized purification ceremony to ward off the effects of prayer at Jakur flying club where the Pray for India rally was held by Hinn with water from Ganges . We are also perturbed to observe that the Hindu new age Gurus and Sanyasinis(women saints )are using the money collected in the pretext of philanthropy and abundant life and salvation from western Christian community are being diverted to target the battered Christian community and influencing the powerful media to ignore the humanitarian works carried out by Christians. Global Council of Indian Christians demand the Chief Minister to order a CBI inquiry to bring the culprits to book and scan the origin of hate funds and its increased use to stifle Christians.
