(ICC) – After on October 21 a bomb was found near the Protestant Maranatha church in the centre of Ambon , two days later, in the evening, a bag with 15 home-made bombs was found in one of the dressingrooms of the Baileo Oikumene building, adjacent to the Maranatha church. While reporting to the police, local civilians put the bombs outside, between the Baileo building and the church. The police came and took control over the explosives. It is not clear what scenario this affair is part of. The devices were low-explosive and of very simple composition. They needed a fuse to be ignited, and this could not possibly be done simultaneously for all 15 bombs.
