(CBN News) – The Communist regime of North Korea wants South Korea to remove some tall neon church crosses that can be seen across the border. In exchange, North Korea would think about ways to remove giant images of North Korean Communist leaders that have been carved into cliffs facing South Korea . Reuters reports military officials in the two countries have agreed in principle to the trade-off. The exchange was part of an overall plan to reduce tensions along the heavily fortified border. Discussions between the two countries are on hold for now, but some concerned pastors have already unplugged their crosses.
