Petitions are an important part of
the the advocacy process.
Petitions with signatures
from ordinary citizens in the US directed
at legislators can be quite effective in influencing their
decisions.
We also find that countries that care
about their reputation
with the US
can be quite sensitive to the signed petitions we send them and
really help
to "push back" countries
that persecute.
The greater the number of
signatures,
the more powerful the impact there is when we
deliver a petition.
Our Latest Petition
Our latest petition is an effort to get a resolution passed by
the US
Congress that
expresses sympathy to believers in Turkey after the brutal
murder of three believers there. Many Congressional leaders have
signed onto this bill but it is being held up in committee.

We are asking you to do two things:
1)
Sign our petition online (this will take you to the signing
page.
The page you will be sent to won't have the petition listed but
we
only run one at a time so your name will be added to the signed
list.
2)
Print out a petition and
take it your church or Bible Study. Ask your friends to sign
the petition
to protest the abuses we highlight. We have
included several pages of sign up
pages. Feel free to
print out extra signature pages for lots of
sign ups. When you have
