Country: China The standoff between an American Christian group and Chinese customs officials ended today when the group realized the Chinese officials would not return the books. There was a growing concern that the members of the group, including a 78-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy would be forcibly removed from the airport.

Country: China While China boasts of its printing 800,000 Bibles a month, Chinese Christians who do not worship in state controlled churches cannot seem to get their hands on any. When Vision Beyond Borders attempted to deliver Bibles to these Christians this week, they were detained at the airport by Chinese officials who are refusing to return the Bibles to the group.
