Prayer Point
Please pray for Pastor Danny Nalliah as he will once again take the witness stand in his own defense in Melbourne, Australia. He should be on the witness stand between 6:00 pm to midnight on 3/17/04 (Eastern Standard time). If all goes well, the hearings will end on March 17 U.S. time. The judge will then take up to 2 months to hand down a verdict. Danny Nalliah has already been on the witness stand for one full day. Danny is hoping that he will only need to be on the stand for a total of two full days, and that Wednesday will be his last day. This is a real prayer concern since Pastor Daniel Scott, who taught the seminar, was questioned for four days. Please pray earnestly. This case will set a precedent in Austalia. It will affect the freedom of Australian Christians to speak publicly about their beliefs as well the beliefs of other faiths. It also has the potential to affect our own freedom to speak publicly about our beliefs.
PRAYER POINTS: -Pray for physical, emotional and spiritual strength for Pastor Danny and his family. -Pray that God will give him peace and joy even though the prosecuting lawyers attempt to incite him to anger and twist his words. -Pray that God will give him wisdom to answer each question and that he will be able to give an explanation and not merely a yes or no response. -Pray that he will be able to show love and kindness and diffuse the misconceptions surronding the case. -Pray that God will use him to expose the true teachings of Islam. -Pray for continued favor with the media. -Pray that Pastor Danny will only have to be on the stand for one more day and not several more days. -Pray that God will bring confusion to the prosecution and that the name of God will be glorified. -Pray for Pastor Daniel Scott and his family. Pray that God will keep them encouraged during this difficult time. -Pray that the judge will see the truth and that the verdict will be favorable to Pastor Danny Nalliah and Pastor Daniel Scott.
