Laos -  Christians living in Donthapad village, Sanamchai District in Attapeu Province, southern Laos have been given an ultimatum.  Officials commanded them to leave their village or die.  The entire village is opposed to them as well.  The Christians are poor and are not able to travel elsewhere.  The government's goal is to eradicate Christianity.

Prayer Points:  Pray that the Christians will be protected and will be able to remain in their homes.  Pray that God will give them wisdom and that there will be outside intervention in order to protect these Christians.  Pray that God will give them hope despite the bleak circumstances.

 Vietnam – Na Ling Village, Song Ma District, Lai Chau Province-  The Vietnamese government has found a new method to pressure Hmong Christians to deny their faith.   Drug injections are being used as a form of torture on the ethnic minority tribe who lives in the mountains of North Vietnam. The injections reportedly cause chest pains, headaches, and numbness in the limbs.

Prayer Points:  Pray that the Hmong Christians will be able to remain faithful to the Lord despite the injections.  Pray that the Christians will have no long term affects from the drugs and that they will be able to love and forgive those who persecute them.  Pray that many of the persecutors will turn to Christ.

Mexico - Unless the government intervenes, 18 Christian families  totaling more than 80 adults and children of the indigenous Huichol tribe will be forced to vacate their temporary homes in Tenzompa, Jalisco, Mexico.  The families have sought government assistance and permission to build permanent dwellings and plant crops.  Instead of help, the Christian refugees have been delivered an expulsion order.   Trouble first erupted in 1987 when they  began to construct a church building. At that time, some were incarcerated and tortured and then all of the Christian families were expelled from Santa Catarina.

Prayer Points:  Pray that God will provide a permanent home for these believers so that they can settle down, build houses, plant gardens and have their children marry.  Pray that these believers can persevere during this trial and that they will be able to wait upon the Lord for their strength.  Pray that God will provide finances for them so that they will not be in want.

Australia-  The court case,  Islamic Council of Victoria vs Catch the Fire Ministries, which is expected to set a precedence concerning the freedom of Christians to openly speak about their faith and discuss the doctrines of other faiths,  resumes on March 18, 2004, Australian time.  Pastor Danny Nalliah is scheduled to be on the witness stand for the day.  The defense is hopeful that the 18^th will be the last day of court hearings.  The judge is to hand down a verdict within 2 months. 

Prayer Points:  Pray for peace and protection for the two pastors named in this suit, Pastor Danny Nalliah and Pastor Daniel Scott.  Pray for encouragement and strength  for all of the family members.  Pray that God will provide wisdom to  Pastor Danny as he takes the witness stand.  Pray that the hearings will end and that the judge will hand down a victory for the Christians.  Pray that God will supply all the financial needs involving this case which are almost $200,000.
