Senior Regional Manager

Are you looking for a challenging job you can believe in? ICC is currently looking for self-starting, organized multi-tasker with a passion to serve Christ and His persecuted church as Senior Regional Manager (SRM) with International Christian Concern (persecution.org) in the Washington DC area (Silver Spring, MD). The SRM will serve as Regional Manager (RM) and will manage the other RMs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Management:

• Manage a team of three RMs
• Ensure RM goals and standards are met by each RM
• Lead, encourage, train, and build RMs

Regional Manager:

• Monitor and posting daily news reports about persecution for the region
• Initiate, manage, and report on projects in the region to assist persecuted Christians
• Travel to covered region on fact-finding trips two-four times per year (approximately two weeks per trip)
• Develop and maintain correspondents and new sources in the region to report persecution to ICC
• Write and edit press releases
• Conduct media interviews
• Write for ICC’s publications
• Maintain updated information on countries in the region
• Speak at churches and events to spread awareness of regional persecution
• Work with ICC’s Advocacy Officer to advocate on behalf of persecuted Christians within the region via connections in the U.S. Congress and State Department

Experience/Skills:

• Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• Strong familiarity or experience with international ministry.
• Knowledge of international Christian persecution issues a plus but not mandatory.
• Prior management experience preferred.
• History of ability to multi-task.
• Strong preference for Christian witness and history.
• Commitment to defending the cause of Christians persecuted for their faith.
• Excellent written communication and problem-solving skills.
• Passion to make a difference in the world.
• History of being a self-starter and a hard worker.
• United States resident with U.S. citizenship or work visa.

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary will be between $40,000 and $65,000 with benefits depending upon education and experience of candidate.
• ICC’s group hospitalization and dental benefits plan after the initial three calendar months of employment.
