Care for orphans and hurting children

Underground PastorsUnderground pastors in persecuted countries are like the “Special Forces” of the US Army. They have incredible drive, stamina, and they can survive and grow in any environment. However, underground pastors possess one notable difference: these men bring life wherever they go and are willing to sacrifice their own lives for their sake of their flocks. Their lives and spiritual growth are vital for the continued strength and growth of the church in times of persecution. ICC-supported Burmese church planters face difficulties beyond dealing with an openly hostile government and strict controls on religious freedom. Often, they must also travel great distances by foot to visit some of the thousands of Burmese villages that remain unconnected to roads. So instead of ministering, they spend time walking. Thanks to your generous support, ICC donors supplied fifteen Burmese church planters with bicycles. The bicycles have doubled and tripled their outreach to those who desperately need to hear the good news of Jesus Christ.

ICC is constantly monitoring the state of Christian persecution in countries around the world and looking for ways that we can act as bridge between our supporters and the persecuted church. Beyond the projects you see above, we are working in many other areas to provide practical assistance to our brothers and sisters in Christ.
