Bibles to the Persecuted
In countries where Bibles are scarce commodities and cause for imprisonment, believers are starved for even a page of the Word of God. The persecuted genuinely treasure the Scriptures as a priceless source of strength. We are committed to getting as many Bibles as we can into the hands of these believers. There are thousands of Afghan refugees in Greece who have never heard the Gospel. In Afghanistan, these souls could be killed for investigating Jesus. In Greece, it's easy! ICC purchased 9,000 Afghan Bibles for Afghan refugees in Greece. Workers distributed Bibles during outreach programs, which include evangelism and discipleship. Believers are so eager to receive Bibles that one Bible can touch hundreds of lives. Due to our strategic partnerships, as little as $1.30 can put a Bible into the hands of believers starved for the word of God.
“All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work." |
ICC is constantly monitoring the state of Christian persecution in countries around the world and looking for ways that we can act as bridge between our supporters and the persecuted church. Beyond the projects you see above, we are working in many other areas to provide practical assistance to our brothers and sisters in Christ.
