Assistance

Assistance refers to practical help and finances we offer the persecuted church to heal, to withstand blows, or to grow in depth and breadth (from our Mission Statement). Most believers have little idea of how many of their brothers and sisters are suffering for their faith. Even those that are aware of persecution often have a simplified idea of what persecution is, thinking of persecution only in terms of attacked, imprisoned, or murdered pastors. For that reason, we offer help in many different ways to the persecuted church depending on the country and specific circumstances of the suffering body. Here are a few examples of the practical help we provide the persecuted Church:

Bibles for the Persecuted What we in the West take for granted those who are persecuted treasure. Whether it's Vietnam, China, or the Middle East, the persecuted thirst for Bibles. In fact, in some countries, as many as 30 people will share one Bible. Bibles make believers sprout up and mature wherever they are sent. Every year we ship thousands of Bibles to the persecuted Church. In 2011, we sent 100,000 Bibles into China and 10,000 into North Korea (via hot air balloon!). We also purchased a printing press to print Bibles in an extremely hostile country in the Middle East.Donate
Suffering Wives and Children When church leaders are martyred or imprisoned, their families are often left without a provider and struggle for survival. Your gifts to this fund helps us fulfill the Biblical mandate to care for the orphans and the widows.Donate
Underground Pastor Support Underground pastors are on the front lines of persecution in some of the most dangerous countries around the world. ICC supports pastors, evangelists, and leaders in Cuba, Egypt, Iran, Vietnam and China as they develop new viable self-sustaining churches. Your gifts lend support to these pastors with salaries, transportation, and training.Donate
Rebuilding Communities We're committed to helping persecuted believers rebuild their lives when tragedy strikes. We rebuild schools, dig wells, and provide job training and micro-finance opportunities for Christians experiencing job discrimination.Donate
Save our Sisters Did you know our sisters in Christ are being abducted, raped, forced into conversion and marriage, and even sold into sexual slavery? Though this happens to women everywhere, in some countries Christians are particularly targeted for their faith and because they are not protected by governments who view Christians as second and third class citizens. With your help, we'll work to rescue these women (many of whom are only girls) from their captors, to provide them with places of refuge to protect them from these types of crimes, to assist them with job training to get them back on their feet, and to provide them with any support we can.Donate
Kids Care Children are often the unseen victims of persecution. Every year, children are orphaned or left with scarcely enough provision to survive when their fathers and mothers are imprisoned or martyred for their faith. Other children live in communities where they are forced to live as second and third class citizens because their families are Christian. Our Kids Care fund is designed to meet the needs of these often overlooked little ones.Donate
Other Projects ICC is constantly monitoring the state of Christian persecution in countries around the world and looking for ways that we can act as bridge between our supporters and the persecuted church. Beyond the projects you see above, we are working in many other areas to provide practical assistance to our brothers and sisters in Christ.
