About ICC

Welcome to International Christian Concern (ICC).
ICC is an non profit and interdenominational human rights organization dedicated to
assisting and sustaining Christians who are victims of persecution
and discrimination due to practicing their faith.

Many know of us because we bring you the world's leading
English-language persecution news website, seven days a week.
We do this without cost because one of our core objectives is to raise
awareness in the West about the persecution of Christians around the world.

But we are much more than a news site about persecution.

We focus on four main areas of ministry:
-Providing for and training in-country Evangelists
& Pastors in persecuted countries.

-Being an advocate for the persecuted
on Capitol Hill and the State Dept.

-Delivering Humanitarian Aid & Relief.

-Raising Awareness in the West about the existence and
severity of Christian persecution around the world.

We exist because of the donations of concerned Christians around the world.
We keep our admin. expenses under 10% and
spend a miniscule amount on fundraising efforts.

ICC affirms the foundations of the Christian faith as articulated in the
Apostles' Creed, recognizing the Bible as the inspired word of God.

Core Objectives

  • To assist Christians and sustain the churches subject to religious persecution by upholding them in prayer,
mobilizing acts of intervention, and other practical means.
  • To promote public awareness and to solicit grassroots support for Christians who are victims of
persecution due to the practice of their faith.
  • To investigate, evaluate, and enforce policies to safeguard religious freedom worldwide as a fundamental human
    right recognized by international covenants.
  • To cultivate partnerships with other Christian organizations who share similar concerns as ICC,
seeking to foster unity through cooperation and support, reflective of the character of Jesus Christ.

Actions

International Christian Concern monitors events impacting Christians around the globe. When a
legitimate need is identified, we respond quickly with appropriate and necessary action.

Militant Islam, Communism, and perceived threats to national culture and identity continue to represent a serious
threat to Christians who practice their faith throughout the world. ICC works hard to counter these threats.
We can't ignore their pleas for help without also jeopardizing our own religious freedoms.

ICC works with a capable and dedicated network of national and world Christian leaders, supporting partners,
and individuals who hold key positions in government, industry, education and other areas. Collectively, this
network responds with prayer and action to assist persecuted believers worldwide.

Ongoing Projects of ICC (partial list):

  • Hand of Hope -
To assist and sustain persecuted believers in the country of your choosing (of the ten we work in). Assistance includes providing Bibles and teaching materials, medical supplies, food, and other material support.  ICC also provides help in payment of legal and medical bills, and in some cases, relocation expenses.  Funds can also be used for ICC’s trips to selected countries in order to assess situations first hand, to deliver assistance, and to encourage the church.
Funds may be designated to any one of ten countries where ICC is active.

  • Hope House -
A home for Pakistani victims of rape. The girls are nurtured in the faith,  healed emotionally, and
taught skills so they can provide for themselves.

  • The Underground Pastors Fund -
An outreach to train and support pastors and evangelists in persecuted countries as well as equipping nationals.

  • Operation Safe House -
Temporary housing and discipling for Christian converts who are under threat of imprisonment or death.

  • Suffering Wives and Children Fund
Many times underground Pastors and Church workers are imprisoned or murdered overseas leaving their
wives and children helpless. This fund exists to channel your donations to the wives and children of jailed or murdreed Pastors.

What We Believe...

Concerning Human Rights

ICC endorses the United Nations' Universal Declaration of Human Rights, Article 18, which states, "Everyone has
the right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion; this right includes freedom to change [their]
religion or belief, and freedom, either alone or in community with others and in public or private, to
manifest his religion or belief in teaching, practice, worship and observance.

Concerning Humanitarian Relief

ICC provides relief to assist Christians and to sustain the churches subject to religious persecution by upholding
them in prayer, mobilizing acts of intervention, and other practical means. We believe that providing humanitarian
relief to others in need is the same as giving to our Lord Jesus (Matthew 25:40).

Concerning the Christian Faith

ICC affirms the foundations of the Christian faith as articulated in the Apostles' Creed, recognizing the Bible as the
inspired word of God.

Concerning Other Faiths

If Jesus, the prophet of the Christian faith, calls us to love even our enemies (Matthew 5:44), then how much more
should we be able to love our friends among other communities of faith, whether they are Jewish, Islamic, Hindu,
Buddhist, other faith-based associations, or those who choose not to affiliate themselves with any faith. ICC is
deeply and continually grateful to those friends outside of the Christian community who have drawn attention to
and raised awareness about the persecution of Christians worldwide.

ICC understands that the religious freedoms mentioned in the United Nations' Universal Declaration of Human Rights,
Article 18, are an essential element of basic human rights, and that everyone, regardless of their religion or belief,
should enjoy these foundational freedoms.

Why We Are Concerned

In fact, everyone who wants to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted,

 ___________

Truth is nowhere to be found, and whoever shuns evil becomes a prey. The LORD looked and was
displeased that there was no justice. He saw that there was no one, he was appalled that there was
no one to intervene; so his own arm worked salvation for him, and his own righteousness sustained him.

not ashamed of my chains.

Speak up for those who cannot speak up for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute.
