Meet Our PresidentJeff grew up in an atheist/agnostic home in Washington, D.C.. He read the Bible on his own for 10 years before he found Christ. He asked Christ into his life at the age of 23 after he was introduced to God’s love and forgiveness by some Christians who witnessed to him as he went from one bar to another. He refers to himself as a radical pagan who became a radical for Christ. He graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in Finance. After graduation he worked in corporate and mortgage banking. In 1992 Jeff was called by the Lord to join the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ, International. He worked with The Co-Mission which was a coalition of ministries and churches whose goal was to reach Russia after the Soviet Union disbanded. He helped Co-Mission recruit thousands of people to go to Russia on two-week mission trips and to be one year missionaries, working with Russian teachers. They trained more than 40,000 teachers to teach Christian Morals & Ethics, a curriculum specifically designed for the Co-Mission. Many of these teachers are still using the curriculum. In 1997 Jeff helped start Campus Crusade’s Macedonia Project. The Macedonian Project mission was to train thousands of US Christians to go on two-week mission trips to take the claims of Jesus Christ to unreached people around the world in “secure” countries. Jeff served as Director of Marketing and Promotion for this project until 2003. In the Fall of 2002 Jeff was dramatically called to ICC through the means of a dream. He has traveled to approximately 50 countries and his inspiring stories and incredible life experiences, combined with his passion for the persecuted, make him an energetic and compassionate speaker. ICC is constantly monitoring the state of Christian persecution in countries around the world and looking for ways that we can act as bridge between our supporters and the persecuted church. Beyond the projects you see above, we are working in many other areas to provide practical assistance to our brothers and sisters in Christ.
