How to Get Involved

Financial Information

ICC is a 501c (3) tax-exempt organization. Therefore, all donations to ICC are tax-deductible. We strive to keep our total general/administrative/fundraising expenses at or around 10 percent. As you can see from the graph below, we keep our fundraising expenses at an absolute minimum.

An Organization You Can Trust

Be Sure Your Gift Serves the Purpose You Intend

When giving to ICC, please note that we provide you with many different ways to direct your gift to serve the persecuted. Many organizations only allow donations to a general account even though they raise funds for specific needs. We feel this is not good policy a non-profit and want our donors to know that they can be assured that when they direct a gift for a specific purpose it will go to this purpose. Sometimes we need to redirect funds given to a certain fund if that project is no longer viable or effective but day-in-day-out, you can rest assured that funds you donate to a specific cause will get to that cause.

Charity Recognition and Approval

ICC has been awarded high marks by charity watchdog groups for our efficient and ethical use of our financial support and the effectiveness of our work:

  • Charity Navigator, America's premier independent charity evaluator, works to advance a more efficient and responsive philanthropic marketplace by evaluating the financial health of over 5,300 of America's largest charities. Charity Navigator gave ICC its highest rating (4 stars) again in 2011.
  • ECFA is an accreditation agency dedicated to helping Christian ministries earn the public's trust through adherence to seven Standards of Responsible Stewardship. ECFA has again given its stamp of approval to ICC in its latest audit in 2007.

Other Projects

other projects

ICC is constantly monitoring the state of Christian persecution in countries around the world and looking for ways that we can act as bridge between our supporters and the persecuted church. Beyond the projects you see above, we are working in many other areas to provide practical assistance to our brothers and sisters in Christ. View our other projects page to understand more of our work and keep up to date on our current projects.
