Religious Atmosphere: 99% of this country's people are Shi’ite Muslims. 0.5% are Baha'i, 0.1% Farsi-speaking Jews, and 0.4% Christian. A small minority also practices Zoroastrianism. Most of the Christians are ethnic Armenians and Assyrians.
