“Slurp, slurp, slurp.”
That was the only sound that could be heard in the room. The children had just received small gifts brought to them from ICC by Corey Bailey. Each child received a bag with soap, a toothbrush, comb, writing utensils and lollipops. “The first thing they did, once they stopped grinning and looking at everything in their bag, was pull out the lollipops and start noisily slurping,” said Corey. “At one point, all I could hear was giggling and slurping. It was a beautiful moment.” ICC sponsors 13 children who were trafficked; sold to Islamic training centers in Bangladesh. Corey Bailey had the chance to go visit the children and hear their stories. When the children received their gifts they were told, “This gift is given to you by Corey, but it is from Jesus…”
