Boko Haram Sustains Major Loses in Nigeria

Nigerian Official claim they have struck a major blow to Boko Haram by arresting over 150 people and killing 36 others. This news comes on the heels of another attack against Christians in Kaduna, Nigeria. On Sunday a suspected Boko Haram operative detonated a bomb outside a Church as parishioners left morning mass. Does this new development mean that the Nigerian government is beginning to take the plight of the Christians seriously? 

09/25/2012 Nigeria (Washington Post) - Nigeria’s military says it has arrested more than 150 people and killed 36 others in an operation across the nation’s northeast to disrupt a radical Islamist sect.

The military swept through towns in Adamawa and Yobe states over the past few days and ordered civilians to stay indoors. The soldiers focused on apprehending members of Boko Haram, the Islamist extremist sect responsible for a series of bombings and gun attacks in the region. The military said Monday two soldiers were wounded in the operations.
