Brazil Joins Fight to Save Iranian Pastor

“The Brazilian government is joining the international effort to save Iranian Pastor Yousef Nadarkhani, who has been sentenced to die for refusing to recant his faith,” CBN reports.

3/10/2012 Iran (CBN) – The Brazilian government is joining the international effort to save Iranian Pastor Yousef Nadarkhani, who has been sentenced to die for refusing to recant his faith.

Since Brazil still has economic and diplomatic relations with Iran, many believe the nation's voice could have an impact on the pastor's fate.

Jordan Sekulow, executive director of the American Center for Law and Justice, has been in Brazil meeting with church and government leaders to help them in their effort to defend Pastor Youcef
