Laotian church elder and congregation threatened with death

Please continue to pray for the pastor and congregation of Boukham Church in Laos. The pastor was kidnapped, detained, interrogated, and terrorized for five to six hours on September 3rd. Authorities demanded he renounced his Christianity or face deportation. Police were recorded saying "a solution to their difficulties in governing could be the death of all believers in the Boukham Church."

Chinese Military Police Ready to Crackdown “Xinjiang”-style: Nine Fushan Church Leaders Kidnapped

Nine leaders from the Fushan church were kidnapped by Shanxi PSB officers on Friday, September 25. Authorities confiscated computers, TVs, and other church-owned valuables and placed remaining church leaders and active members under house arrest. Officials also are comparing the incident to an uprising in Xinjiang and calling on police to prepare to use the "Xinjiang Model" against the church, a method that resulted in the deaths of several hundred people in August.
